Upper Cross Syndrome is a term that describes a number of different types of altered postures through biomechanical changes over a long period of time. These changes can lead to a number of musculoskeletal conditions that can lead to pain, decreased range of motion, and poor functional movement patterns needed on a daily basis. Not only can Upper Cross Syndrome lead to soft tissue pain, but it can also lead to cervical and thoracic produced pain from the different structures of the spine.
During the webinar specific musculoskeletal conditions related to Upper Cross Syndrome will be outlined, and corrective exercises combined with corrective stretching will be discussed on how to help reverse these postural changes leading to a reduction in pain, and significant increases in range of motion. Manual handling in the form of specific myofascial techniques and specific joint mobilisation techniques will also be included.
This webinar is worth 1.5 CPE points.
