Using empirical and anecdotal evidence, this presentation highlights how movement programs improve children's learning and behaviour from birth to seven years of age.
The presentation will cover how movement aids development and will include practical activities for educators to use with groups to enhance sensory motor skills.

Meet your presenters
Maureen is the director of the Learning Connections Centre and facilitates workshops in the Learning Connections Early Years Program. Maureen has worked with thousands of families and educators for over 40 years developing and implementing sensory-motor and reflex integration movement programs.
Julie has a Bachelor of Early Childhood and 30 years experience of working in the childcare industry. Julie has worked for the past 15 years as the General Manager for a private licensee. In 2016 after being encouraged by family and friends Julie and husband Allan purchased their own child care centre with a huge focus on play based programs. Julie's greatest passion is the Inclusion of children with additional needs at the services and working closely with families and the broader community."
