About the webinar

Since the end of the “opt out” period earlier this year, and all Australians with a Medicare Card who have not opted out now have a “My Health Record”. When refugees and migrants apply for a Medicare Card, they will automatically be included in the My Health Record database.
SCOA and ADHA invite you to attend a webinar, specifically for the settlement sector, aimed at better understanding My Health Record and what it means for newly arrived communities.

This webinar will:
1. Build further awareness about My Health Record and support SCoA members and their staff to understand it.
2. Provide an opportunity to ask questions about the record and what it means for people from refugee and migrant backgrounds

ADHA is also seeking input from our members regarding the development of resources to help newly arrived Australians and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, to have the best possible outcomes when using My Health Record.
